As an Engine Room Operator at Capital Group, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the machinery in our engine rooms, ensuring that all systems are operating efficiently and safely. You will work closely with our team to maintain and repair equipment, and you will be responsible for recording and reporting on the performance of our machinery. 📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Monitor and control machinery in engine rooms, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
• Maintain and repair equipment as needed, following manufacturer specifications and safety protocols.
• Record and report on the performance of machinery, identifying areas for improvement.
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery, identifying potential issues and addressing them promptly.
• Work closely with the team to ensure that all safety standards are met and that the engine room is maintained in a clean and organized manner.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
• Assist in the preparation of ship for voyage, including checking and testing all machinery and systems.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including ISO, IMO, and SOLAS.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Engine Room Operator, with a strong technical background in maritime machinery.
• Knowledge of marine diesel engines, boilers, and other related machinery.
• Understanding of maritime regulations and safety standards, including ISO, IMO, and SOLAS.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Valid certification as an Engine Room Operator, preferably with a STCW (Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping) endorsement.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to work shifts, including overnight and weekend shifts, as required.
